Lorin W. Kirby, 71, passed away May 7, 2010. Survived by his wife, Neva E. Kirby; children, Leroy (Julie) Kirby of Brighton, Colo. and Lora (Rudy) Lopez of Clermont, Fla.; grandchildren, Nurell Lopez and Dominique Lopez; numerous nieces and nephews. Lorin was born July 14, 1938, in Lamar, Colo., to Roy and Ruth Kirby. He retired as an office manager in California. He enjoyed woodworking and was a member of First Church of God. Service, 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at First Church of God, 528 W. Abriendo Ave., with Pastor Danny Bryant officiating. I was saddened to hear of Lorin’s passing. I was a friend of his brother, Roy, that passed away last year. I worked with Roy during his brief time here at Universal Impact in Staunton, Virginia. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May God comfort each and every one of you during this very difficult time.
