Loretta F. Moroney, 72, of Pueblo, Colorado, passed away Aug. 26, 2005. Survived by her husband of 51 years, Raymond M. Moroney of the family home; mother, Fern Wertz of Pueblo; children, Mike (Gina) Moroney of Highlands Ranch, Colo., Kathy (Dale) Purcell of Pueblo and Linda Moroney of Florence; siblings, Vera Yates of Greeley, Colo., Bob (Judy) Wertz of Pueblo and Ken (Cheri) Wertz of Pueblo; and six grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father, Cecil Wertz. Loretta was born July 10, 1933, in Horace, Kan. She worked as an auto finance customer representative for GMAC. As per her request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, August, 30, 2005, at Our Lady of the Meadows, 23 Starling, with the Reverend Father Ervin Schmidt as celebrant. We will always remember Loretta and Ray, Mike, Kathy, and Linda as friendly next-door neighbors on Lynwood Place. Those were happy times. You are in our thoughts and memories across the time and distance. May her memory be eternal.
