Loretta “Lori” Dale (Boley) Barnes, 92 ½, passed away Dec. 29, 2020.  Survived by daughter, Connie Manka Vollinger of Pueblo West; sons, Steven J. Manka of Denver, Roger A. (Catherine) Manka of Anchorage, Alaska and Christopher D. (Robin) Manka of Colorado Springs; grandchildren, Lucas (Misty) Logan, Louis, Anthony, Andrew Manka, Corey Vollinger, Samantha Manka-Segal and Desirae Manka; sister, Jo Anne Zimmerman of Castle Rock; brother, William Boley of Three Forks, Mont.; many nephews and nieces, especially Diane Leduc of Castle Rock.  Preceded in death by parents, Homer S. and Frances Z. (Shoop) Boley of Montrose, Iowa.  Lori was born June 26, 1928, in Fort Madison, Iowa.  She worked at SafeCo Insurance in Los Angeles, Calif. and retired from Skandia Insurance of Long Beach, Calif., as an Assistant Accounts Manager.  Lori loved barbershop-style singing, reading, cats, dogs and other four-legged creatures, and most of all, her family.  A prolific writer of humorous poems, she looked for the fun in every situation.  She was a 40 year member of Sweet Adelines, founding member of Boulder, Colorado Women’s Chorus and sang baritone in the Post Scripts Quartet.  Member of St. Paul the Apostle Church of Pueblo West.  Rosary and funeral Mass was offered 11 a.m. Jan. 6, 2021, at St. Paul the Apostle Church by Rev. Dr. Edmundo Valera, Pastor.  Interment, Green Mountain Cemetery, Boulder, Colo.
