Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Lloyd was not only my nephew but one of my best friends. With our ages being closer than alot of Uncles and Nephews we could sure get in the trouble in the younger days of our lives and as we grew older we worked together when he hired me on at TLC. There was not a time when I came home on leave during the 20 years I spent in the Air Force that Lloyd did not show up when I came home. We talked for hours when we could as a matter of fact he called me a few days before he passed and we recalled our memories and I am so glad that call was made. I loved Lloyd ande respected him and all I can say now is Tammy, girls and Toby and Dusty if you need me Uncle Vern will be there for you if I can.

  2. Lloyd was not only my nephew but a very good friend. Thru
out the 20 years I spent in the Air Force any time I got home on leave Lloyd
would be one of the first to drop my parents to say hello to me and my
family. Since our ages were closer than alot of Uncles and Nephews Lloyd and
myself could stir up some trouble in our younger years and when we got older
we worked together. He hired me on as one of his couriers when I got out of
the military and we had a good business relationship as well. It was nothing
for us to talk for hours either in person or on the phone as a matter of fact
he called me a few days before he passed and I am so glad he did. I loved my
nephew Lloyd and will never forget him, and as for his wife, children and
grandchildren I will tell you right now Uncle Vern will be there for you when
I can if you need me.
