Linda Lee Whitt, born Jan. 26, 1948, succumbed after a lengthy illness on April 27, 2011. Born to Gerald and Marjorie Perkins in Pueblo. Survived by her husband of 42 years, William 'Bill' Whitt; son, Jerry (Tira) Whitt; daughter, Shawna Blonke; sister, Janet (Leslie) Tooker; brother, Gary (Gina) Perkins; grandchildren, Erica and Ivan Whitt, Derek, Megan, and Emma Blonke; and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and many, many friends. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday and service, 10 a.m. Monday, both in the Montgomery Steward Funeral Chapel. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. Online condolences, MontgomerySteward.com

  1. It was my pleasure to have spent time with Linda and her wonderful husband Bill. I am sad to hear of her passing after this long and painful illness. I offer my condolences to you Bill who has always given to me a generous smile, I am so sorry for your family’s loss. I was very lucky to have been one of Linda’s nurses and got to spend time with her, what an inspiring person.

  9. What an emptiness Linda’s passing has left. What a truly wonderful and compassionate lady. Our friendship may have started through an ad she put in the newspaper offering to babysit, but soon we were family. May His Love comfort you.
