Lillian Frances Smith, 86, departed this life to be with our Lord on March 22, 2000. She was born February 18, 1914, in Akron, Colorado. Lillian fell in love with John W. Smith and they were married June 8, 1931. During their union they were blessed with 11 children. Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, George Donald and Gertrude Frances (née Scott) Warmoth; husband, John Wesley Smith; 3 sons; 4 daughters; 3 step sons; 1 step daughter and 1 son-in-law. Lillian is survived by her loving daughters, Joyce Rogers, Pueblo, Beverly Murphy, Minnesota, Barbara (Dale) Hulbert, Michigan and Evelyn (Denny) Blaschko, Minnesota and step son, Joe Smith, Montana; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Pat Allison, Florida and other relatives all to cherish beautiful memories of her. Lillian loved to tell old stories, fish and enjoyed gardening. She loved everyone who touched her life. At her request there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Montgomery & Steward Chapel, with Dennis Dillavou officiating. Sympathy cards to the family may be sent to the funeral home.

  1. My Grandma was one of the greatest people I knew. She was an amazing mother and grandmother. She taught me to live life and not spend time on the negative times. She had many hard time but yet she was happy. I love and miss you very much!
