Lillian C. MacFarlane, a/k/a 'Mama Woody,' 'Grandma Babe,' 90, passed away April 20, 2015. Born January 18, 1925, in Pueblo, Colo. Her strong work ethic throughout her life was something to be admired. Her positivity was magnetic. She was brilliant in the way she navigated her life and treated other people, not just her family – all people, no matter your race, gender, religion or sexual preference - she loved you. Bye, bye sweet Grandma Babe. Thank you for being an excellent example of a human being. Survived by sister, Jackie Starcer; sister-in-law, Elaine Guadagno; children, Pam (Jim) Wooten, Donna (Wayne) MacFarlane-Franz, Sabrina (Sam) Sample, Jacque (Bob) Pisciotta; grandchildren, Shannon, Kim (Lou), Adam (Eric), Amber, Autumn (Russ), Rochelle, David, Savanna (Joel), Ollie, Spencer, Seth and Jerin; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Zoey, Ellie and Charlie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Guadagno; husband, Donald MacFarlane; son, Guy 'Woody' MacFarlane; granddaughter, Haven Pisciotta; and siblings, Eileen Winters, Ellen Landorf and John Guadagno. Memorial Mass, 4 p.m Monday, April 27, 2015, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 217 E. Mesa Ave. with Rev. Fr. Ben Bacino officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
