Lila Mae Mitchell, 87, passed away Jan. 18, 2021. Survived by children, Janice (Barry) Anderson of Haslet, Texas, Patricia Mitchell and Kenneth Mitchell both of Pueblo; sisters-in-law, Margaret (David) Wilcox and Barbara Mitchell; brother-in-law, Larry Grim; eight grandchildren, Krista (Joe) Lauricella, Jennifer (Mike) Duran, Paul (Korey) Seybold, Stephanie (Michele) Perez, Sarah (Jonathan) Godfrey, Steven (Sonia) Anderson, Kendra (Austin) Payne and Nichole Mitchell; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, John F. Mitchell; parents, Kenneth and Bertha Bon Durant; and siblings, C.E. Bon Durant, Harriet Grim and Alberta Bon Durant. Lila was born Feb. 20, 1933, in Pueblo and worked at the Pueblo Army Depot from 1958 to 1993. She enjoyed gardening, camping, ceramics and was a member of Family Community and Education for 30 years and Vineland United Methodist Church. Viewing, 4 to 6 p.m. Friday and funeral service, 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, both in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
