Dear family of Leona,
I was so saddened to hear that Leona had passed away. She was always so sweet and cheerful even when she was not feeling well at all. Sophie Rubenstein (my mother) enjoyed sitting with her for their meals. We will miss her sweet smile and gentle ways.

We are sorry to hear of your loss;she was a great great lady and one hell of a cook.

Leona was my favorite resident when I was a member of the kitchen staff in 2005/6. Whenever I would bake cookies, I would run them down to her still warm for her approval. I remember how she lit up when I brought her some Kimchee for her little fridge. The angels are dancing to have a darling soul like her in their midst.
