Leona G. Johnson

Leona G. Johnson, 93, passed away May 11, 2011. Survived by her son, John F. Johnson of Raton , N.M.; daughter-in-law, Penny Whitten of Pueblo West; granddaughter-in-law, Marian Johnson of Penrose; sister-in-law, Opal Krantz of Pueblo; and brothers-in-law, Donald Johnson of Littleton and Albert 'Doc' Johnson of Oregon. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Johnson; her son, Byron P. Johnson; and her grandson, Darryl Johnson. Leona lived most of her life in Pueblo. She and her husband were members of a local four-wheel drive club, journeying over many of the four-wheel drive passes in Colorado. In later years she enjoyed getting together with a group of friends affectionately known as the Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Bunch. At her request, cremation with no service.
