Lenore Charlene Goetz

Lenore Charlene Goetz died Aug. 29 at her home in Pueblo. She was born Oct. 7, 1940, in Beaver Dam, Wisc. to Virgy and Charles Swain. After graduating from Colorado State College in 1963, she married Laurence Theodore 'Ted' Goetz in 1964. Charlene, as her friends and family knew her, was a faithful Catholic who spent much of her time caring for others. She was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed picnics in the mountains, leaf peeping, playing games, travel and spending time with her family. She loved all animals, but none more than her trusty dog Molly Bloom. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and parents. Mrs. Goetz is survived by her sister, Mariem Lenfest of Lakewood; sons, Michael (Adrienne) of Colorado Springs, John (Carolyn) of Salida, and Paul (Denise) of Salida; grandson, Marcus of Salida and many nieces and nephews. The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1708 Horseshoe Drive. Private interment.
