Lenora R. Nelson

Lenora R. Nelson, 82, born Oct. 19, 1921, in Portland, Wisc., passed away December 31, 2003, in Pueblo, Colo. Survived by her children, Lawreen (Scott) Helbig of Thornton, Colo., Kenna (Gary) Lawson of Pueblo, Colo., Neil Nelson, Keith Nelson both of Osage City, Karl Parkos of Arvada, Colo., and Kennye (Lilly) Parkos of Weisbaden, Germany; 18 grandchildren, Bill Helbig, Jim Helbig, Joyce Kesler, Rich Helbig, Gary Lawson, Jr., Vanessa Bielby, Rob Lawson, Rick Lawson, Curt Nelson, Jamie Annett, Kennye Kingslien, Karl Kingslien, Bryan Gilstrap, Zac Parkos, Kiandra Parkos, Sanja Parkos, Alex Parkos, and Patrick Parkos; and 27 great-grandchildren. Preceded is death by her parents, Clous and Elizabeth Hanson; daughter, Norma Gilstrap; grandson, Mitch Nelson; brothers, Harry, LaMont and Norman Hanson; and sisters, Germaine Marx and Geneva Rugg. At her request, there will be a family gathering only.
