Resided in: Pueblo West, CO

Lenora Natalie 'Lynn' Hickman, 67, of Pueblo, Colo., went to be with the Lord December 15, 2012. She was born August 6, 1945, to Emmett Lee Burch Jr. and Margarette Louis Jordan. Survived by son, Robert (Jeannie) Hickman; daughter, Sherry (Kevin) Schermerhorn; grandsons, Justin and Jordan Schermerhorn; brother, Bill (Julie) Boyle; sisters, Valista (Jim) Jones, Doris (Dale) Alber; brother-in-laws, Philip (Carol) Hickman, Larry (Rebecca) Hickman; special nieces, Sarah 'Lynn' Alber and Jenny 'Lynn' Jones. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 43 years, Ronald Hickman; and grandson, Jason Schermerhorn. Lynn was a resident of Pueblo West, Colo., and a former resident of Del Norte, Colo., and Texas. She worked for Lawyers Title for more than 20 years. Lynn's love was her family, including the four-legged canine members. She had many dogs in her life whom she loved dearly. She raised and showed Akitas for several years. Lynn was the one you looked to for many answers and often much needed advice and help caring for a child or pet. Coming home for Christmas will always be memorable because she lovingly prepared for her family, from baked banana bread and sugar cookies to her gift for decorating and most of all, making sure everyone felt special and included. Her family meant everything to her. Lynn's care giving, sweet nature and beautiful smile will be missed by all. Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, Christ the King, 1708 Horseshoe, with Msgr. Tom Adrians as celebrant. Interment, Imperial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice of Pueblo through the funeral home. Online condolences, www.montgomerysteward.com.
