Leland M. Latimer, 90, passed away May 11, 2004, in Pueblo, Colorado. Born July 13, 1913, in Medford, Oklahoma to William and Effie Mae Latimer. Attended East High in Denver and Denver University. Survived by loving wife of 67 years, Vivian; and three children, Paul William (Clara) Latimer of Maui, John T. (Sydney) Latimer of Longmont and Patricia Ann Krueger of Pueblo; grandchildren, Shane Poston of Anchorage and Paul David Latimer of Portland, Oregon; brother, Cecil Latimer and sister, Darlene Stone, both of Denver; one great-grandson; two step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Leland was manager of Hendrie-Bolthoff and was a salesman for Pueblo Electric and Westinghouse Electric from which he retired nearly 30 years ago. He was a member of Divine Science Church, BPOE #90 for 65 years, Eagles #145, Kiwanis, past president of AARP Chapter #175, member of the Model A Club and the VMCCA. Leland was an avid golfer and loved the outdoors and traveling. He lived west of the City Park for 55 years in a home her built for his family and more recently resided at the Pueblo Villa Towers. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Elks service by BPOE Lodge #90 and memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2004, at Divine Science Church, 115 E. Routt, with the Reverend Earleen Cornell officiating.
