Lela Ruth Gower

Lela Ruth Gower passed away November 28, 2000. Preceded in death by her husband, Clifford W. Gower, in 1976. Survived by her children, Ansel (Marilyn) Gower of Pueblo and Ruth Kumler of Lakewood, Colorado; sister, Doris Wall of Elida, New Mexico; grandchildren, Margaret (Mike) Hurley, Ann E. (Harvey)Pinkelman and Bill Gower; great-grandchildren, Sarah Morton, Jessie Morton, Ben Pinkelman, Kaitlyn Pinkelman and Liam Pinkelman; numerous nieces and nephews. Lela was born to Rufus Edward and Eliza Tusha on April 2, 1904, in St. Charles, Iowa. She was an employee of the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad. Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2000, at the Montgomery & Steward Chapel, with Reverend Robert Enck officiating. Private interment, Mountain View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to HARP Foundation or a charity of donor's choice through the funeral home.
