Lee Ann M. Watkins, 62, passed away May 20, 2001. Survived by her husband, Robert Watkins, of the family home; children, Kathy (Tim) Rupert, Mark (Glory) Watkins, Tim (Tamara) Watkins, all of Pueblo, and Phillip (Deanna) Watkins of Sycamore, Illinois; brother, Wilbur (Judy) Lay of Pueblo; mother-in-law, Mary Buehler of Pueblo; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alma (Ted) Barker of Deora, Colorado, Vernon (Lovina) Watkins of Canon City, Noretta Hicks of Alexandria, Ohio, Betty Gray of Gunnison, Colorado and William (Dorothy) Watkins of Canon City; grandchildren, Tiffeny Pontius, Jeremy Watkins, Jacob Watkins, June Jones, Kenneth Johnson, Sonya Yob, Taryn Watkins, Jayme Watkins and Darian Watkins; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members. Lee Ann was born July 11, 1938, to Irene M. (nee Papas) and Wilbur F. Lay Sr. in Pueblo. She was a bookkeeper for Pueblo Gas and Fuel and later for Herb's Sport Shop. She was an active member of Trinity Life Center, Women's Aglow and Thursday Morning Bible Study. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2001, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel, with Pastor Rich Conley officiating. Following the service, the family will receive friends and relatives at Trinity Life Center, 36 Merritt Ct. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Life Center, charity of donor's choice or the memorial fund in Lee Ann's name at Minnequa Bank.
