I was deeply saddened to hear the news about the sudden death of Lee.
My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. We are all in a state of shock.
Lee was such a funny, entertaining and supportive person to be around. He will be missed.
I will always remember when we were kids growing up at the time of the loss of my brother Carl, he would mention to me Carl is here in sprit and he will always be watching over you. Well Lee, now you and Carl can enjoy each other in a better place.
Russ, I know you will miss Lee greatly. During this difficult time, I know you will draw upon your own strength and the strength of loved ones that hold you in their thoughts.
You have my deepest sympathy. I will be in touch to see if you need anything.

  5. We will miss Lee and the smile and hug he gave everytime we saw him he had such a great personality. We have had the privilege of knowing him for the very short life that he had. We will never forget him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Chris and Russell and all the other family members that have shared the same loss of a all around good guy!

  6. Russ & Family,
I was shocked to hear about Lee. He was a friend like no other. He never turned his back on you, always was there to lend a hand, and quick to make you smile. He went with me to Vail and always had my back…all our backs. Lee will be greatly missed by many. He was loved by many. His memory will live on with anybody who met him.

  7. Our thoughts are with your family during this time. I am the daughter of Mary (Dave) Granillo Arellano, the Sanchez family side. I knew Lee as an infant. it’s been many many years since i saw him but in the photo he looks totally like his dad and it sounds like he was just as funny as him too. Please give my condolences to Janet and ‘Alex’. We frequently visited Alex Sr when we were children at great grampa Sanchez’s house. Your grandma Virgie and my grandma -Margaret-are sisters. God’s comfort to you all.

  8. The Sanchez Family,
Hello Sanchez Family, I just heard about Lee. I cant believe it. I am so sorry. My prayers go out to all of you.
As most of you know, Lee and I grew up together. Lee was the most funny and energetic person I have ever known. He always had his wits and could make anybody laugh at any given moment. Lee and I used to go to school everyday together starting from Morton Elementary, to Freed to Centennial. There wasnt a day when he didnt make someone laugh. I will always remember him for that. I wished I could just tell him and thank him for making peoples life so enjoyable. Please dont hesitate to contact me if there is anything I can do. God Bless!

  12. Russell,
We were very shocked and sad to learn that Lee had passed away on Sunday. We lost touch with him so long ago but he was an important part of our lives for many years and a good friend. We always figured we would meet up with him sooner or later and that we would have time to get in touch. Sadly we have lost our chance, I just hope we will meet him in Heaven. We have some pictures of Lee from the old days and if you are interested we would love to share them with you and your family. Just send us an e-mail with your contact information or feel free to call and we can either e-mail them to you or send you copies in the regular mail.
There is much we don’t know about his life in the past 10 years; we hope the years were full and that he was happy. Although we allowed time and distance to separate us, we will miss Lee and we are grateful for the time we did share with him. He was a good friend and a good man. Our prayers are with your family.
Russ there is so many things I want to say, but there are not enough words, and in the end words cannot suffice anyway.
    Sincerely,
