Lee A. Arguello, 95, was taken to his celestial home June 9, 2003. Survived by his wife of 68 years, Beatriz Raquel Arguello, of the family home; children, Alex Arguello, Ramon (Sabrina) Arguello, Marie 'Pauline' Subia, Gloria (Alonzo) Trevillison, Mary Ellen 'Lena' (Albert) Estrada, and Nancy (Tony) Duran; brother, Eloy Arguello; sisters, Ida Fierro and Josefita 'Josie' (Melisandro) Trujillo; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Pablita Romero-Arguello; sons, Pedro, Paul, and Joseph; daughter-in-law, Gloria Arguello; and fondly remembered brothers and sisters. Lee was born in Ocate, NM where he began his family and work life. He moved his family to Avondale, CO where he and family members built the family home. Upon arriving in Colorado, Lee worked for the C.F.& I. and then transferred to the Pueblo Depot Activity until retiring in 1973. Viewing will be at the funeral home Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary, 7:00 P.M., Thursday, June 12, 2003, at Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Funeral Mass, 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 13, 2003, at Sacred Heart Church, 240 E. Highway 50, Avondale, CO, with Abbott Warren Hedigen as celebrant. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. Reception following at Sacred Heart Church Hall in Avondale.
