LaVona J. Sabott, 77, passed away June 6, 2011. Survived by her children, Kerry B. (Mary) Sabott of Pueblo and Sherry (Gary) Drew of Colorado Springs; brother, Bruce Wright of Gallup, New Mexico; grandchildren, Brett Sabott, Kerry Elizabeth Sabott, Lauren Drew and Cameron Drew. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Sabott; sister, Myrna Jaycox and parents, Jesse and Edna Wright. LaVona was born in Tucumcari, New Mexico on July 13, 1933. She was a graduate of Centennial High School, was an avid bowler and a part of many women's bowling leagues for over 38 years. LaVona was a loving grandmother and lived for her grandchildren. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Graveside service, 11 a.m. Saturday June 11, 2011, at Roselawn Cemetery.
