Lavina M. Whaley, 91, born Dec. 15, 1918, in La Junta, Colo., passed away May 12, 2010. Survived by her children, Thomas (Peggy) Whaley, Donald (Kathy) Whaley and Robert (Barbara) Whaley; sisters, Elmo Raymond and Lucille Ritter, all of Pueblo; eight loving grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Seth M. Whaley on July 7, 2003; and sister, Cleo Bergman. A private funeral service in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel and burial will be held. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. The family respectfully requests the omission of food and flowers.
