Laura M. Martinez, 66, passed away January 24, 2003. Survived by her husband, Pete Martinez of the family home; children, Pete A. Martinez, Mark
(Kathy) Martinez, Ava (Mike) Giron, and Marcella (Manuel Valdez) Romero; siblings, Joe (Juanita) Ulibarri, John (Cecilia) Ulibarri, Jimmy Sandoval, Marie Conway, Isabel Ulibarri, Genevieve (Victor) Gonzales; grandchildren, Adrianne Romero, Brianne Webb, Sean Webb, Anthony James Martinez, and Sierra Martinez. Laura was born August 10, 1936, in Vaughn, New Mexico. At her request there will be no viewing and the casket will remain closed at the service.
Funeral service, 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
