Laura E. 'Beth' Tucker

Laura E. 'Beth' Tucker, 83, passed away December 2, 2001. Survived by her children, Tom (Shirley) Tucker of Pueblo and Ray (Judy) Tucker of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; grandchildren, Paul Tucker, Laura Tucker, Terri Renee (Jesse)Aguilar, Sean W. (Raeanna) Tucker and Jeffrey J. Tucker; step-grandchildren, Jennifer Sharp, Jill Dewar and Lance Vogan; and 3 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Tucker, in 1966; 3 sisters; and 1 brother. Born on January 29, 1918, and was a lifetime Pueblo resident. Beth started her career at Southern Colorado Power and retired from Centel as an Administrative Secretary to the District Manager after 30 years of service. She was also an active member and choir director for many years at First Congregational Church, life member of Beta Sigma Phi and longtime member of Altrusa International. Beth will lie in state at the funeral home today from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. A private interment will be held prior to the service. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2001, at First Congregational Church, 228 W. Evans, with Reverend Dr. Randy Wilcher officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Congregational UCC, c/o the funeral home.
