Larry Joe Diaz, 66, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away Sept. 29, 2006. Survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Dora Diaz; daughter, Judy (Charles) Zolman of Plainville, Kan.; siblings, Sam (Susan) Diaz of California, Ted (Myrna) Diaz, Rose (Manuel) Cornejo, Debbie (Abe) Aragon and Joann Escobedo, all of Pueblo; grandchildren, Robbin (Chris) Pinelle, Amanda (Aaron) Love and Courtney (Logan) Legrand; and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Martha Diaz; and sister, Maryann Segura. Larry was born Nov. 4, 1939, in Greeley, Colo. He and Dora were married Nov. 10, 1956, in Cañon City. Larry retired in 1997 as a stucco contractor. He loved the outdoors and gardening and was an avid Broncos fan. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, at Kingdom Hall, 523 E. Pitkin Ave., with Ernesto Pino officiating. A reception will follow at 930 S. Santa Fe Ave. Those who desire may make memorials to Kingdom Hall direct or through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, Colo. 81003.     We all thought a lot of your grandpa. He was so involved in everything we did at dance. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. I remember him sitting in the audience and always having a smile on his face. And he always went to watch us at nationals on all of those trips. He was like the heart of the studio. I will pray for you and your family.
