Kristie Rae 'Yi-yah' Mariano, 22, was in a tragic accident and went to be with her Lord on May 22, 2000. She is survived by her beloved sons,
Isaiah Jude and Jeremiah Moonstorm who she loved with all her soul and their father, Mark Hernandez; son, Jeffrey Allen Bastian and his father, Sean Bastian; her beloved heart child,
Anthony Michael Ramos for whom she yearned everyday of her life; mother, Patricia J. Mariano; sisters, Tina Ramos, Patti and Gypsy
Mariano, Laura Luna; brother, Jason Mariano; brothers-in-law, Charley, Matt and Jim. She was Yi-yah to nephews, Joey, Kenny, Dylan,
Raymie, Brian and Gabriel; nieces, Amber, Raven and Aurelia and auntie to many others. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and
friends. Kristie was intensely socially and politically active through Youth Empowerment, Youth Incentive, Concerned Parents, S.A.F.E. and fought for all causes she believed in. She had tremendous faith in God and also kept her mind open to ideas such as the theory of GAIA. Kristie's hopes and dreams included becoming a day-care provider, traveling with her children to Europe, riding every roller coaster in the country and having a daughter. Her family will miss her deeply but celebrates her life in Christ. Kristie was born May 27, 1977, and will celebrate her 23rd birthday in Heaven. Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 26,
2000, at West Street Baptist Church, 1001
