Kirston Fay Dace, 35, born November 1, 1990, went home to her heavenly Father on September 10, 2026.

Kirston Fay passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026, from complications of Type I Diabetes.

Kirston was first diagnosed with Type I Diabetes when she was just 5 years old.
Although doctors once gave her a limited prognosis, Kirston continued to defy theodds. She faced many complications of her illness with remarkable strength
and resilience throughout her life, living far beyond what was medically expected.

Kirston was so much more than her illness. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend.
Kirston was joyful, kind-hearted, and a gentle soul with a beautiful smile and a laugh that
could light up a room. She was polite, loving, sentimental, and deeply loyal to the
people she cared about, especially her mom, Lisa and her brother, Daniel along with many of her family and friends.

Kirston had a soft spot for beautiful things and enjoyed flowers, the outdoors, the mountains, and most of all, the simple moments that made life special.

Her faith was an important part of her life. Kirston loved her church and treasured her church family.
There was no doubt that she knew she was loved by the Lord, her family and so many more.
The relationships she formed at church brought her comfort, friendship, and a sense of belonging.

Kirston graduated from Pueblo East High School through a program at Pueblo Community College.

She will be remembered by those who knew her for her gentle spirit, her beautiful smile, her laughter, and the love she so freely gave.

Kirston is survived by her mother, Lisa Fay Reinert, her brother and best friend, Daniel Ray Dace, and her dear and special nephew, Daniel Ray Dace, Jr.

She was pre-deceased by her father, Thomas E. Dace, grandparents Raymond and Carol Sue Dace, Theresa and Vic Reinert- Zupancic,
and James A. Reinert, as well as her uncles William L. (Tiger) Dace and Charles K. (Chuck) Reinert.

Kirston also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who she loved. Delrae (Bill) Cuddihy, Frank Dace, Kari Ellis. Shannon Benz,
Catherine Reinert (Chuck), Ed (Janette) Reinert, Cheryl (Dan) Nelson and her cousins Max, Madison and Mason Cuddihy, Shelby Clark, Brandon
Thomas, Frankie Ray Dace, Amanda Duncan, Evan Reinert, Jayne Reinert, Hunter Reinert, Fisher Reinert, Kelsey Lack, and Courtney Johnson. Her extended family and friends also held a special in her heart.

Kirston sincerely appreciated all of those who helped her on her life journey.
Her family also extends sincere gratitude to all the medical professionals and emergency service providers who aided in her care throughout her life.

Kirstons life is not defined by the challenges she faced, but by love, laughter, faith and the many memories she leaves behind.
She was so strong and brave through her lifelong journey of diabetes.

Her beautiful smile and her gentle spirit will be remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
