Kevin Parnell, 43, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. The Lord called him home Sunday morning after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen and Helen Cummings and Bill and Doris Parnell. Survived by his loving wife, Gina; and his beautiful daughters, Katelyn and McKenna; mother, Judy (Orin) Einspahr; father, Jerry (Jan) Parnell; sister, Kim (John) Gallant; mother and father-in-law, Dave and Betty Salameno; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rex and Lori Greenhood, Dennis and Tami Maltbie and Donnie and Meri Greenhood; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. Kevin loved spending family time with his wife and daughters whether it be fishing, camping, volleyball, swimming or racing. He was a hardworking, generous business owner for the past 25 years and will be sadly missed by many. Special thanks to the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Goodyear, Ariz. There will be no viewing. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, at Fellowship of the Rockies, 3892 W. Northern. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of food and flowers, please make donations to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Kevin's memory through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003.

  3. Dear Gina and girls , I am so sorry at the loss of your husband, father. I am sure you were his earthly angel Gina and saw him through this transition. And now He is dancing on the streets of gold and awaiting to reunite with you and the girls someday . May God shower you with His love, peace and grace over the upcoming months, and may you find rest in the arms of Jesus as he holds you. May to call on Him in the dark moments and hold tight to the precious memories you have with him, in which no one can take. My love and prayers will be with you.

  4. Kevin was a wonderful person and will be truly missed. Gina, you and Kevin had a true all-American love story, high school sweethearts that built a life together, and I hope that brings you comfort in your time of grief. My deepest condolences to you and your girls.

  9. I just wanted to express my deepest condolences. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Kevin’s passing. I will never forget and will cherish the memories I have hanging out at the Parnell’s during middle school and high school. My prayers and thoughts are with you all, God Bless.

  10. I knew Jerry & Judy Parnell in Fowler at Faith Baptist Church. I so enjoyed Kimberly and Kevin. I was so sad to hear of Kevin’s passing. I will be praying for all of you for strength and encouragement in the weeks and months ahead.
    My mother’s name is Vera Garrett. I think Jerry & Judy will remember her as well as my older brothers and sisters, David, Steve, Margaret, & Connie. God Bless you.
