  1. Thanks to Kathy for introducing and mentoring me during my journey into duplicate bridge. Through that venue I met and enjoyed many people I wouldn’t have known otherwise. She was a great gal and suffered greatly with her health.

  2. Thanks to Kathy, I have a beloved companion, a small poodle mix named Schatzi. She drove all the way to Boulder with me to check him out at a shelter just before Christmas, and then agreed to keep him at her home over Christmas when I didn’t want to change my travel plans. Thanks to her efforts, I got to play duplicate bridge on Saturday afternoons when I was still working full time. She added so much richness to my life. Her health issues were brutal and unfair.
