Katherine 'Kay' Manweiler

Katherine 'Kay' Manweiler, 85, passed away November 24, 2003, in Pueblo, Colo. Survived by her brother, Jack Manweiler of Pittsburgh, Calif.; sister, Irene Douglas of Pueblo; and special friends, Tom and Midge Montgomery of Pueblo. Preceded in death by siblings, Elizabeth Ehrlich, Natalie Manweiler, Harry Manweiler, and Carol Manweiler. Kay was born September 19, 1918, in Sugar City, Colo. to Carolina and Henry Manweiler Jr. Kay ventured to Los Angeles as a young lady and pursued a career as a secretary for 32 years at National Technical Schools. After she retired, Kay moved to Pueblo in 1980. Gardening was her favorite pastime. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, November 28, 2003, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pastor Randy Bolt officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Those who desire may make memorials to Sangre de Cristo Hospice through the funeral home.
