June Irene Smith

June Irene Smith, 80, passed away peacefully Jan. 12, 2013. Survived by children, Rob Smith and Nancy Hanson; brother, John (Kay) Brelsford; grandchildren, Clint (Denise) Ferguson and Jamie Ferguson, all of Pueblo, Colo. She was looking forward to seeing her first great-grandson due in two weeks. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Smith. June was born Jan. 24, 1932, in Roundup, Mont., to John and Emma Brelsford. She was the store manager for over 20 years at Flesher-Hinton Music, later known as Rob's Music, where she helped countless music students and teachers alike. June loved practical jokes, trips to Cripple Creek where she enjoyed playing poker and slot machines (she was one of the luckiest players), cooking, gardening, and was a Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets fan. She also enjoyed her house, visiting with neighborhood friends, her house in Rye, along with the area wildlife. A private service will be held at a later date.
