Julia Yarnell, 76, passed away June 10, 2016. Survived by her husband, William K. Yarnell; daughter, Susan M. Yarnell, both of Pueblo West; siblings, Frank van Bergen of Pueblo, Marie Daberkow of Pueblo West, Johanna Hall of Garden City, Kan. and Adriane van Bergen of Walnut Creek, Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Marie van Bergen. Julia was born Sept. 22, 1939, in Nordenham, Germany. She was a middle school teacher for Pueblo District 60 and a member of the Pueblo German Club. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice or American Diabetes Association through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003.
