Julia Stimac

Julia Stimac, 83, of Pueblo, went on to reside with the Lord on April 7, 2008, following an extended illness and hospitalization. She was born January 8, 1925, in Keewatin, Minn. to George and Emily Stimac. Julia moved to Pueblo and graduated from PCC and was employed as an LPN at the Colorado State Hospital until her retirement. She is survived by her sister, Katherine Fertal of Ft. Collins; sister-in-law, Ann Stimac; nephews, Rick, Greg and Jeff Stimac; nieces, Sandra Burt and Susan Nunn; along with numerous great-nephews and nieces. Missed by special friends, Dolores Gonzales and Margaret Sills. Julia was proud of her Croatian heritage and always looked forward to current news regarding the local Tamburitzans performances. Her hobbies were playing cards, reading and just watching T.V. Family, friends and neighbors will sadly miss her. At her request, there will be no viewing or services.
