Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Some of my favorite childhood memories involve trips to Colorado always with a stop at Joy and Bill‘s house. So many fond memories of that house family and even neighbors. While we may prepare in our head for the eventuality of something like this, our hearts are never ready. Although we didn’t get to see you guys much in recent years, you’re always near and dear to our hearts and Joy will be missed drastically. We love you guys and will continue to pray that God will give you strength and comfort in the days, weeks, and months ahead.

  2. I just finished watching the memorial service for Aunt Joy Lou. To Betty, Harold and Sue, my heart goes out to you. I respect the devotion all of you, spouses included, showed to Aunt Joy. The care you showed her, the evidence of your love for her is beautiful and inspiring. Uncle Bill, I love you and ask God to watch over you. You and Aunt Joy built a beautiful life and family. Aunt Joy taught me many things about personal strength, integrity, perseverance. I will miss her and am beyond grateful that she was my aunt.

  3. Sending our Love ❤️ and prayers to You all today. Thinking of you Harold & Kate💕John & Elaine Padilla

  4. We are very sorry to hear about the loss of your mom and grandmother. Sending love and prayer, Fern, Maurie and Cecilia

  5. Joy will always be with those she loved and shared in her amazing life. She lived a life full of blessings that she freely shared. All who had the privilege of knowing her are enriched and forever grateful. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

  6. My childhood memories are filled with memories of living across the street from Joy. She and my mother gathered together over a cup of coffee almost every day. Besides that, our families were intertwined by so many occasions. Rarely did a birthday or holiday go by without the Long‘s in attendance. Joy’s loving and generous nature always made any occasion she was at special. I like to imagine that she and my mother are enjoying another cup of coffee again. It’s been a long while since that happened. God bless your soul Joy and all of your family. You will forever have a place of honor in my heart.

  7. I have so many childhood memories from Lake George. What a blessing to have grown up knowing you. You will be missed by all who loved you! Prayers for the family. Sorry I can’t be there.

  8. Joy was such a kind and thoughtful lady. You were blessed to have her in your life. Sending heartfelt condolences to the family.

  9. What a wonderful life full of blessings you have lived. You were loved deeply and you loved deeply in return. You will be missed but always remembered.

  10. My favorite Aunt. I know you and Mom (Rozelle) are having a wonderful reunion in heaven. You will be missed by all who knew you and loved you.
