Josephine L. Sanders, 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Dec. 21, 2014. Survived by daughter, Patsy (Duane) Myers; grandson, Dayle (Robin) Myers, all of Pueblo; granddaughter, Cindy (Bill) Voskamp; and great-granddaughter, Ariel of Mt. Vernon, Mo.; great-grandsons, Derek (Jen) of Berlin, N.H.; Devin (Lara) Myers of Aurora, Colo.; and great-great granddaughter, Emma Myers of Berlin, N.H. Predeceased by her parents, Jim and Susie Fitzpatrick; sister, Frances Viles; loving husband, Frank H. Sanders; son, Frank J. Sanders; and grandson, Jimmy Sanders. Josephine was born in Durango, Colo., as a small child moved to Pueblo with her parents. In 1938, her parents bought a ranch above Red Wing, Colo. She met a cowboy in Gardner, Colo. and married him in 1939. They lived in the upper Huerfano Valley until 1977, selling their small ranch in Malichite. They then moved to Buffalo, Mo. to be near their son; moving back to Colorado in 1985. Josephine loved her family and was happiest when she was surrounded by them. As per her request, cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Gardner Methodist Church, Gardner, Colo.
