Services for Joe Tilley:

Joseph Sanford Tilley, 96, passed away on Sept. 5, 2023. Joe is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Jeanne Marie Tilley; his parents, Benjamin and Mary Tilley; and his oldest daughter, Janis. He is survived by his loving children, JoAnne LaSage, Judy Mackey, Jackie Sais, Jerri Chambers, and James Tilley.

Joe was born in 1926 in Pueblo, Colo. He was in a management position at the Pueblo Army Depot for the majority of his career. He was a Navy WWII veteran and managed his own electronic company after his retirement. Joe was a long-standing member of Al Kaly Shriners at the Silver Star level. He worked tirelessly to provide for his six children. He was the essence of strength and determination, virtues that were instilled in his children. Joe welcomed 33 grandchildren and great-grandchildren with a loving heart.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 9, 2023, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel in Pueblo with Pastors Larry and Lorrie Russell officiating. Mausoleum entombment at Mountain View Cemetery.
