Joseph Robert Sand, born Nov. 11, 2005, passed away Dec. 9, 2005. Survived by his parents, Shawn and Corrine Sand; sister, Johnna Sand, all of the family home in Pueblo West, Colo.; grandparents, Linda Ortega of Pueblo, Linda Sand of Florida and Robert Sand of Alabama; great-grandparents, Earl and Betty Walter of Florida; uncles, John Max (Amanda) Ortega of Yuma, Ariz., Brian (Lori) Clark of Houston, Texas and Tom Clark of Spokane, Wash.; aunt, Trish Sand of Spokane, Wash.; numerous other family and friends. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Max Ortega. Graveside service, 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at Imperial Memorial Gardens with Pastor Dave Smith officiating.
