Joseph G. Rodriguez

Joseph G. Rodriguez, 88, passed away Jan. 30, 2004, in Pueblo, Colorado. Preceded in death by his wife, Della Rodriguez on April 23, 1994; daughter, Mary Theresa Brelsford-Valdez on Nov. 18, 2002; and parents, Simon and Pascualita Rodriguez . Survived by his children, Richard (Carol) Rodriguez and Manuel (Sharon) Rodriguez , both of Pueblo; siblings, Jess Rodriguez of Pueblo and Mary Sainz of Denver; grandchildren, Ronnie (Debbie) Rodriguez , Buddy (Lena) Rodriguez , Simon (Crystal) Gonzales and Desiree (Eddie) Vigil; and 7 great-grandchildren. Joseph was born March 19, 1915, in Leon Guanajato, Mexico. He serviced in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from C.F.&I. Member of St. Leander Church, 6th and Monument, where the services will be held. Vigil, 7 p.m. Wednesday and funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Fr. Ben Bacino as celebrant. Military honors by Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team and interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
