Joseph F. Romeo

Joseph F. Romeo, 49, passed away Dec. 19, 2003, in Pueblo, Colorado. Preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Ann Newhouse-Romeo on October 21, 2001. Survived by his sister, Rosemary (Joseph) Sleevi of Lakewood, Colo.; brother, Steven (Lynn) Romeo of Wheat Ridge, Colo.; aunt, Rose Dalla of Lakewood; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Joseph was born to Frank and Angelina Romeo on August 10, 1954, in Denver. He and his wife owned and operated Pet City. Member of Sunset Park Christian Church. There will be no viewing. The service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at Sunset Park Christian Church, Prairie and Amherst, in Pueblo, with Pastor Dan Juba officiating. Memorial Mass, 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 3549 Navajo St., in Denver, with the Reverend Father Timothy Kremen as Celebrant. Interment will follow the Memorial Mass Saturday, at Mt. Olivet in Wheat Ridge. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice or Hospice of St. John, through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, P.O. Box 777, Pueblo, CO 81002.
