  1. Joe was an amazing man, who treasured his heritage and cared for his family and relatives. As his cousin, I can attest to his loyalty and love for all of his relatives. He will be missed. Big hugs to the entire family.

  2. I had the opportunity to meet Joe in the early to mid 80’s when he and his family would patronize the store where I worked. As so many have said here, the world is missing a genuinely good person. My sincerest condolences to Christine and his children. He was a man of integrity and quality, the world is a lesser place now.

  3. So many great memories of Joe,especially the classes we shared at Central high school. He was very smart and I looked to him for guidance. He had a great sense of humor and I appreciated our daily interaction.what a class act he was and obviously throughout his life. Even though we all go our separate ways and routines change I will remember the good times I had with him. My wife and myself send our condolences.

  4. Prayers to all the family! Joe had a terrible illness and suffered a long time! Joe my friend you will never be forgotten! You were a great guy and friend!

  5. Michael and family…..though I did not have the pleasure of knowing your dad, from comments made by others in my circle who knew him, he must have been one awesome husband, father, grandfather and friend. Also, the fact that he was your father, the exemplary life you lead is testament to him. I extend my heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

  6. Thank you Joey for reuniting me with my cousins in Pueblo. Because of you, my grandmother was able to meet her niece Pauline. Because of you Pauline has blessed our lives.

  13. I truly wish I had met Joe years ago. He was a very good man, always had different ideas just in case a ‘Plan B’ was needed. I never heard Joe say anything derogatory about anyone. I’ll remember our long text conversations before and after his untimely illness.
We’re one good man short today.
Hey, Joe! I know you’re up there watching. Next time I’m about to stumble I know you’ll be there to help steady me! Thanks, Joe,, for just being my friend.

  14. When I first met Joe I was in awe about the knowledge he had about so many different things. Being at the Columbus Day events was very important to Jo Jo. Joe & I attended several SOI meetings & SOI picnics at City Park. We played Bocce ball & did pretty good. He was quite the competitor at it too. I will miss his fiery energy & will really miss the jokester that he was. RIP Jo Jo. I will miss you my friend. It was an honor to have met you sir.

  15. There’s just not enough words that can express the sadness in my heart 💔 Growing up, we as cousins were more like brothers & sisters, that’s how close all of the cousins were. We seemed to be extensions of each other, from one house to the other! A close, loving Italian childhood! The best!!! That is how Joey lived his life and brought up his family! I will miss you my cousin, but you will never be forgotten and we’ll all be together again. Prayers up for Christine, Michael, Angela, Daniel, & Anthony and to the entire Coffee family 🙏 R.I.P. Joe❣️

  22. Our cousin Joey was such a good man. He was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I have never heard him say, or heard of him saying, an unkind word about anyone. Well, maybe about the people who tried to take down the Monument of Christopher Columbus in Pueblo! Joey was very loyal to our Italian heritage and he was willing to fight for his beliefs.
He was well loved by everyone who knew him. I think the pictures at the bottom of his obituary are a testament to him being a happy man with a life well lived.
