Jose P. Herrera, 74, passed away July 5, 2003. Survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Paulita 'Pauline' Herrera, of the family home; children, Linda (Rudy) Sosa, Patsy (Art) Razo, Joseph Andrew (Judy) Herrera, Mary Jo (Samuel) Sandoval, all of Pueblo, and Mark (Tracy) Herrera of Chicago, Illinois; siblings, Queta (Petrolino) Lucero of Portales, New Mexico and Pat (Flora) Herrera of Pueblo; 14 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Indalecio and Juanita Herrera; siblings, Elvira, Miguel, Pedro and Jesus Herrera. Jose was born August 11, 1928, in Anton Chico, New Mexico. He retired from the Ball Mill at C.F.&I. and was a member of St. Joseph Church. Viewing will be at the funeral home today from 2 until 5 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Funeral Mass, 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2003, at St. Joseph Church, 1145 Aspen, with the Reverend Father Ron Roche as celebrant. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Those who desire may make memorials to Sangre de Cristo Hospice, through the funeral home.
