Jonna K. McClure, 52, passed away on Feb. 23, 2023, after a courageous and brave battle with Melanoma. Preceded in death by grandmother, Ethel M. Sigler; mother, Carol J. Sigler; husband, John H. McClure; and aunt, Denise J. Sigler.
Jonna leaves behind her loving son, Zachary McClure; spouse, Tony Lopez; and sister, Stephanie (Christian) Parks. She also leaves behind Alex (Jake) Lopez, Thomas (Payten) Moore, Danielle (Noel) McClure, Johnie McClure, Dominick (Elena) Moore, Thaddeus (Kassidy) Parks, Jalexa, Riley, Jrake, Deakyn, Phoenyx, Kennedy, Dominick, Ethel, and D-raven; and numerous other family and friends.
A lifetime Puebloan and a staple to the community, Jonna was the Owner/Director of Boone Guest Home, which she purchased in 2006. She worked in the DD/ID field for 34 years. The individuals she served were more like family and gave her joy and drive each day. Jonna’s contributions and selflessness to this field and the community will never be forgotten. Jonna loved her family and spending time with them. She loved hosting parties and enjoyed baking cakes for birthdays and other events in the last several years. Jonna loved her 70’ Roadrunner and enjoyed attending and participating in car shows. Jonna helped whomever, however, and whenever she could. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral service, 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Lynn Gardens Baptist Church, 3804 W. Pueblo Blvd., with Lonnie Hartke officiating. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow at Pueblo Convention Center. Online condolences can be made at www.montgomerysteward.com

You were such a good friend and always lighten every party. You will be so missed by so many. Thank you for the friendship over the years and thank you all for taking care of my auntie Leanne when she lived at the Boone Guest home. Many hugs, loves and prayers for your family. I know that your loss will be a huge impact. You meant so much to so many. Love you friend!

Jonna was a childhood Neighbor , She lived across the ditch and rode the bus with all of us from Boone. I’m glad that I got to meet her son and see her beautiful home it was great seeing her as an adult. R.I.P neighbor until we meet again . Fly with the angels.
