Jonathan “Mike” Taft, 54, passed away on December 23, 2024, in Pueblo, Colo. He is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie Taft; his children, Sutter and Jessica; his sister, Lisa Taft; and his brothers-in-law, Craig, Stacy, and Michele. He was the son of Linda and Thomas Dykes, as well as George and Tina Taft.

Mike was a proud Navy veteran, having served for four years. He worked for the City of Pueblo as a supervisor of the Parks Department and was a certified arborist.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel. In accordance with Mike’s wishes, attendees are invited to wear festive and beach-themed clothing to the memorial service. Online condolences at www.MontgomerySteward.com

    We had a nickname for Mike at work, ‘Smiley,’ because he always had a smile on his face. His enthusiasm and knowledge were respectable.
