  6. To Peters and Dutton families:

I am so sad to hear of JoLynn passing. I am native LaJuntan, and knew JoLynn all through high school and afterward. I remember a beautiful, kind-hearted warm person! Had I known she lived in Pueblo, I would have kept better in touch. We also have lost recently, and know all too well what you are going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you all-as you grieve your loss.

  7. Dear John & Family,

What sad, sad news to hear about JoLynn. She was truly a very special person and so talented at everything she did. I am still wearing the wonderful sweat shirts she made and still get comments on them everywhere I go. Glenn and I are so sorry for your loss and extend our heartfelt sympathy to all of you — and you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

  8. My Dear Family,
Our prayers for all of you are without ceasing as together we ache for our beloved JoLynn. She is everywhere for us… My house is filled with beautiful things she made for us–a Noah’s ark framed art piece, quilts, embroidered burp cloths… My heart echoes with her gentile voice, fun spirit, kind words, faith, and beautiful laugh… My eyes can still see her batting eyelashes, hands gracefully playing the piano… She is so precious to me and such a huge part of who I am. May her memory live on in the deep way she touched everyone’s life who knew her!

Grace told me “Auntie JoLynn” was playing with Jesus and all the boys and girls in Heaven. I know she is there, holding His hand with her radiant smile beaming… running with sheer joy and freedom!

May God surround you and fill you with His perfect love, Uncle Johnny, Janelle & Jeff and your families.

    All our love,
    Heather, Ross, Grace, & Elizabeth

  9. John, Jeff and Janelle,
I am praising God that JoLynn is in heaven, breathing in great gulps of God’s fresh air. I know she is singing and running, and maybe even suggesting to the angels how “we” might re-arrange things. Every place I look in my home are memtos or clothing I received from JoLynn, and so she is never far from my thoughts. We spent many hours laughing, crying and praying for each other and I will miss that. Tuesday evening, when I picked up my mail I had another gift from JoLynn. My copy of the Guideposts magazine. She has gifted me with the magazine for years. My life was blessed by her friendship as well as the friendship of you, her family. I will miss her greatly, but take comfort in knowing that she is with her Savior.
You will be in my prayers.
    With love,
    Carla

  10. I am truly saddened by the loss of JoLynn. I remember like it was yesterday, the two of us being new to PEO chapter GU together. She was so much fun to be around. The world was a better place with her in it and now Heaven is blessed to have this angel.

  11. John, Jeff and Janelle, I am so sorry for your loss. Surely you will miss your beautiful wife and mother. JoLynn was really unique. What a blessing I have received in knowing her.

JoLynn taught me so much about how to live a life of service to the Lord. She did this in words and actions. Many times she spoke words of thankfulness, praise, love, and encouragement. What good memories I have of her preparing a wonderful meal for friends, handcrafting a birthday gift, smiling though she wasn’t feeling well. There is such comfort in knowing that JoLynn is radiant now with God’s glory.

God’s blessings and comfort to you all,
    Joanie

  12. John,
I’m devastated to hear about your loss. I know how much she meant to you. She was a great lady with a big heart and she will be missed. I know how she looked after you down here…know she is still doing so. God Bless you and your family.

  13. We wish we could be there to share in your grief. Our love and blessing go to you and your family. JoLynn is in her beautiful new home, where we will meet up with her again some day. Her celebration of life will be many good memories which can be held forever.

  14. Dear John and Family,
What do you say at a time like this? I can’t imagine what y’all are going through right now with the loss of JoLynn. She was truly a remarkable woman who dealt with her life with true grace and dignity. When I first met JoLynn at a company function I told Seals that I met one of the nicest ladies today. My sentiments were shared by others as well and I know we are all better off knowing that she was a part of our lives. Seals and I were so glad that we were able to spend some time with the two of you while we were traveling and will remember the good times that we shared over the many years. God truly sent down an “angel” when he gave us all JoLynn. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers and know that, with time, God will see you through your pain.

  15. John,
I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. I can’t even begin to fathom the pain you are experiencing but I know you are blessed to have had so many great years of a true spiritual partnership. I believe this was the way God intended it. Times will be hard but God will be faithful to the end. I apologize for not staying in better contact but I will continue to pray for you and your family!!

    Paul McDonald

  16. John & Family,

JoLynn was a Angel on earth, and now a Angel in heaven. JoLynn touched my life and spiritual heart.
JoLynn’s life is a inspiration to all that knew her. I have been reflecting on all of our many times that we spent talking. She always had a smile and spirit that she passed on to you no matter how she felt. JoLynn was always thinking of others first. JoLynn touched my life! I want to pass her spirit to others like she did me. JoLynn’s life lives through everyone that she touched.

    Love,
    Blake
