John W. Birks, 62, passed away April 6, 2001. Survived by his wife, Judy Birks,of the family home; children, Gail and David Birks; mother-in-law, Mary Valek;grand mother, Blanche Birks; and brothers, Kelly Birks and Scott McDonald. John
was born March 2, 1939, in Joliet, Illinois. He worked as a quality control inspector for J & M Manufacturing Company in Pueblo West. At John's request, there will be no viewing nor service. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. The
family will receive friends Sunday, April 8, 2001, starting at 1:00 p.m. at 1324 Alexander Circle.
