John S. McBride, 70, passed away February 16, 2006. Survived by his loving wife, Sue McBride of the family home; daughter, Kelly Ann McBride-Handy; and special son-in-law, Benny Handy, both of Fancy Gap, Virginia; stepson, Chuck (Sheila) Carrington, Pueblo; grandchildren, Michael John Huff, Danny Lee Huff, Linsday Barnes and Jamie Barnes; step-grandson, Justin (Bobbie) Carrington; and step-great grandson, Tony Lo. Preceded in death by his son, John Edward McBride; and 2 sisters. John was born Nov. 3, 1935, in Pueblo. He graduated from Centennial High School and retired from CF&I. John enjoyed riding his bike, going to the library and wood carving. At his request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2006, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make memorials to either American Red Cross or American Cancer Society, c/o Montgomery & Steward, P.O. Box 777, Pueblo, CO 81002.
