John S. McBride, 70, passed away February 16, 2006. Survived by his loving wife, Sue McBride of the family home; daughter, Kelly Ann McBride-Handy; and special son-in-law, Benny Handy, both of Fancy Gap, Virginia; stepson, Chuck (Sheila) Carrington, Pueblo; grandchildren, Michael John Huff, Danny Lee Huff, Linsday Barnes and Jamie Barnes; step-grandson, Justin (Bobbie) Carrington; and step-great grandson, Tony Lo. Preceded in death by his son, John Edward McBride; and 2 sisters. John was born Nov. 3, 1935, in Pueblo. He graduated from Centennial High School and retired from CF&I. John enjoyed riding his bike, going to the library and wood carving. At his request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2006, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. My deepest sympathy to all of you. John was a very caring person. I will surely miss his smiling face and his kind words that always brightened my day. John will be greatly missed by all of us here at the Rawlings Library. My thoughts and prayers are with you, may God Bless you all.
