They eventually moved to Pueblo West, Colo. where he spent the rest of his life. He is survived by his wife of 53 years; children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and sisters. John did a lot of great things in his life and touched a lot of people but his family was one of the things he was proudest of. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
We have been friends for 50 + years more including high school. We had lots of adventures over the years and will really miss being able to call and talking about fishing, motorcycle riding, camping and family outings, watching our kids grow and have families of their own. Their are no words to express how much John will be missed. He was a really good guy.

John, you will be missed by one and all. You were a man of integrity, and one who kept his word even to your own hurt. Family and friends would do well to follow your walk with Jesus. See you again some day in heaven.
One of the best Uncles and man there ever was! I will never forget crawling under your truck with you to help with your oil when I was a little girl! Love and miss you!!
