John J. Jauch, 87, passed away March 11, 2011. Preceded in death by his wife, Carrie L. Jauch on June 19, 2007; brother, Charles Jauch; and sister, Bertha Weber. Survived by his children, Bettie McLain of Pueblo, John (Karen) Jauch of Wausau, Wis. and Robert (Gaylene) Jauch of Gillette, Wyo.; sisters-in-law, Blanche Hibpshman of Houston, Texas and Ruth Hibpshman of Juno, Ala.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. John was born Sept. 26, 1923, in Westcliffe, Colo., to John G. and Minnie Jauch. He retired from D&RGW Railroad as a construction foreman. John was an active member at Trinity Lutheran Church where he was proud to have served as head usher for many years. He also was a Lutheran Layman's League representative for many years and a member of Grand Veterans Club. Viewing from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Service, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 701 W. Evans Ave., with Pastor Randy Bolt officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
