John George Klafurich born Aug. 14, 1924, and went to be with the Lord on Sept. 2, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Anna Klafurich; his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth Pusedu Klafurich; infant son, John Stephen; sisters, Mary Miklich, Katherine Tucci, and Ann Perko; and brother, Joseph Klafurich. He is survived by his children, Shirley (Donald) Anzlovar of Pueblo, Pam (Charles) Sells of Denver and Glynis Katherine (John) Miller of Penrose; grandchildren, Michelle (Herb) Thornton, Shon (Rachel) Sells, Wesley (Sara) Sells, D. Marc Anzlovar, Johnny Miller, Jerald (Rachel) Miller, and Greg Anzlovar; great-grandson, Nathan Miller; brother, Steve (Nellie) Klafurich; sister, Rose Kleinheim; in-laws, Russell Tucci, Violet Martinelli, Ray (Shirley) Pusedu, Joe (Patty) Pusedu, JoAnn (Richard) Virant and Elaine Pusedu; and numerous nieces and nephews. John worked at CF&I for 38 years. He was a charter member of Holy Family Parish and enjoyed hunting, golfing and the camaraderie at the Pueblo Eagles #145. Viewing, 10 a.m. followed by the Rosary and funeral Mass on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Christ the King Church, 1708 Horseshoe Dr., with Msgr. Tom Adrians as celebrant. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
