John D. Hall

John D. Hall, 81, passed away July 11, 2010. He is survived by one daughter, Sandy (Gary) Crawford of Pueblo; one son, Greg (Debbie) Hall Hutchinson, Kan.; grandchildren, Christie (Danny) Smith, Tonya (Brian) Lakes, Jeff Hall and Jim Hall; great-grandchildren, Blake Fowler-Smith, Trent Lakes, and Jaden Lakes; two sisters, Doris Franks of Watonga, Okla. and Joann (Joe) Matli of Firestone, Colo. John was preceded in death by his parents, John D. Hall, Sr. and Irene Hall of Watonga, Okla. John served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict as a paratrooper in the 188th Airborne Division. John lived and worked in Oklahoma until 1961. He and his family moved to Lamar, Colo. to own and operate Hall's Shoe Store. From 1968 on, he worked as a salesman in Lamar and Pueblo. He retired from Dammann Gas and Supply and belonged to the Elks Club for 27 years. Memorial service, 4 p.m. Friday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Online condolences, MontgomerySteward.com
