John Anthony Rodighiero, 75, passed away July 23, 2006. Survived by his wife, Doris Rodighiero; children, John Rodighiero, June (Mike) Rodighiero-Johnson and Mark (Madelyn Padula) Rodighiero; grandchildren, John (Amae) Rodighiero, Angela (Rick) Calapini, Nicole (Brian) Copelli, Zachary Johnson, Brandon Rodighiero, Ryan Rodighiero, Noah Rodighiero, Mike (Emily) Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Cole Coleman, John Copelli and Alyson Johnson. Also survived by his sister, Gen Henderson; nieces, Diane (Dave) Zimmerman, Charlene Weakley, and Anna (Dave) Trabold, several cousins and numerous friends. Preceded in death by his parents, John 'Bocho' and Dina Rodighiero, and his brother, Petey Rodighiero. John was born August 3, 1930, in Raton New Mexico. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #145and recently became a member of the Sons of Italy. At his request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel, with Deacon John Wertz from Sangre de Cristo Hospice officiating.   5. So sorry to hear about John (Poppa), but we are glad he is in comfort now. We understand what you are feeling and please know that we are thinking of you today and everyday. We loved Poppa alot, he was a good man. I wish we would have went to see him like we had planned. We kick ourselves in the butt for not going soon enough.Our deepest symathies to the family.

    I’M VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. JOHN WAS SUCH A SWEET WONDERFUL PERSON. I’M GLAD THAT I GOT TO MEET HIM, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ONLY FOR A SHORT TIME. HE NEVER COMPLAINED AND WAS ALWAYS HAPPY. HE ALWAYS HAD A GOOD OUTLOOK AND TOLD ME THAT GOD HAD A PLAN FOR HIM AND WOULD TAKE HIM WHEN HE WAS NEEDED. WELL, UNFORTUNATELY I THINK GOD NEEDED HIM TOO SOON.
