Joe Ricardo Sanchez, 71, passed away July 19, 2011. Survived by his siblings, Katherine Sanchez, Rose Prado, Dorothy Casper, Manuel Sanchez, Anthony Sanchez, JoAnn Massarotti and Juanita Traylor.
Joe was born to John and Emma Sanchez on Sept. 1, 1939, in Walsenburg, Colo.
There will be no viewing. Rosary, 1 p.m. Monday followed by the Mass at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 11th and Grand St., with Msgr. Leonard Racki as celebrant. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to Cathedral of Sacred Heart through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003.
